Indictment: Driver who hit, killed elderly man negligent

Charges have been brought against Avi Eliyahu, 43, of Bat Yam, for the wrongful death of Lev Fritz'kov, 78, following a car accident that took place in Bat Yam at the start of 2013.
According to the indictment submitted to Petah Tikva Traffic Court, Eliyahu, who was driving a car with an expired vehicle license, entered a traffic circle at the corner of Harav Levi and Raziel Streets. There he fatally hit Fritz'kov, who was crossing a crosswalk on his scooter. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
