Palestinian fishing area off Gaza expanded back to 6 miles
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon confirmed the extension of Palestinian fishing space off the coast of the Gaza Strip to six nautical miles. This followed the reduction of fishing territory to three miles after the firing of rockets at Israel's southern communities two months ago.
The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Brigadier General Eitan Dangot briefed Palestinian Authority officials on the decision. (Yoav Zitun)
