Chief of Staff Benny Gantz said at a conference held in Zichron Yaakov, "The Syrian-Egyptian space has lately been characterized by long range firings, hostile mining activity and terrorism. We will never know everything and the uncertainty in the area will continue."
Gantz toured Tuesday morning with GOC Northern Command Maj. Gen.Yair Golan and Golan Division Commander, Brigadier-General Tamir Hyman on the border of the Golan Heights and inspected the readiness of forces, after rockets fired from Syria damaged an IDF vehicle. (Yoav Zitun)
