Gantz: If Assad disrupts Golan Heights quiet he will pay

None

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz commented on the alleged Syrian attack of an IDF vehicle, refuting the Syrian version of events. "The jeep was positioned on the Syrian part of the border fence rather than on Syrian territory, reports to the contrary represent nonsense. They shot at it three times, clearly from a Syrian position."

Ganz added "Assad encourages anti-Israeli activity at the Golan Heights. We will not allow the Heights to become Assad's comfort zone. If he disrupts the order there, he will pay the price." (Ahia Raved)
