Hit and run: 3 year-old sustains light-moderate injury

A three-year-old sustained light to moderate wounds after being struck by a car in a hit and run accident in the community of Elad in central Israel. The vehicle hit the boy as he was crossing the street in an unmarked area not designated for pedestrian crossing. The driver then fled the scene.
The boy was evacuated to the Schneider Children's Medical Center in Petah Tikva. Police have begun canvassing the area in search of the driver. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
