Livni to German counterpart: Fast track "Ghetto Law" correction

None

Justice Minster Tzipi Livni met Tuesday with her German counterpart, Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger in Jerusalem, and stressed the importance of paying reparations to 20,000 people who worked in the ghettos during the Holocaust and – because of German law – have not been included in the groups entitled to compensation.

According to Livni, it is important to speed-up the process of correcting the German "Ghetto Law," because of the age of the target group. Livni also requested that Germany support the decision to add Hezbollah to the EU's terrorist list. (Aviel Mengazi)
