Egypt reopens Rafah crossing following release of kidnap victims
The Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza, closed by police since Friday in response to the kidnapping of seven members of the Egyptian security forces, was reopened Wednesday, witnesses said.
The reopening took place after Wednesday’s early morning announcement by the Egyptian army of the release of the three policemen and four soldiers abducted last Thursday in Sinai. (AFP)
