Gas discovery at Shark reservoir

The companies Delek Drilling and Avner Oil Exploration, which operate under the name Delek Energy and are controlled by Yitzhak Tshuva, reported the discovery of gas discovery at the “Shark” reservoir, located off of the coast of Nahariya.
This follows the company's announcement last week that it had found a gas layer with a thickness of 60 meters at a depth 4,315 meters. According to estimates, the source contains between 2.3 to 3.6 TCF (trillion cubic feet) of natural gas. A report assessing the size of the resource is expected to be released in two months.
