Iran's former president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said that he would not try to act against the disqualification of his candidacy for president, the Iranian news agency ISNA reported.
Earlier, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that he would work to cancel the disqualification of the candidacy of his relative by marriage, Rahim Esfandiar Mashaei, and that he would discuss it with Ali Khamenei , the spiritual leader of the country. (AFP)
