Mother of murdered girls filed complaint against father day earlier

The mother of the girls who were found dead in Al Furah filed a complaint with the Arad police the day before her daughters were found dead, stating that she was afraid their father would hurt them, a police report said.

In light of this information, Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino ordered the establishment of a national commission of inquiry. It is to be headed by the chief of the Investigations Division in the Intelligence Investigations unit. They are to examine law enforcement’s handling of the complaint prior to the murders.
