Transportation Minister: Will work fast to pass anti-strike legislation

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz announced that the tender to establish a new sea port will be published on July 1, and that only after beginning dialogue with the labor unions.
The move is expected to meet intense objection among dock workers, but Katz said that in the event of a prolonged or violent strike, he would not hesitate to use means such as the rapid passage of legislation against strikes, the use of ports in foreign countries and the recruitment of employees who are already retired.
