Education Ministry monitor gets threats after math exam
Dr. Irma Jean, the professional monitor for mathematics within the Education Ministry, received threatening phone calls on Tuesday night. This followed the mathematics matriculation exam, which many students said was unusually difficult. The threats were made after students shared her phone number online.
Callers made statements including, “You should solve the problem" and "Do justice.” The Education Ministry confirmed the threats and said, "The matter is being dealt with by our department of security.” (Shahar Chai)
