Gaza: Palestinian sentenced to death for 'collaborating' with Israel

A Palestinian man convicted of "collaboration" with Israel was sentenced to death and another to life imprisonment with hard labor by a military court in Gaza, announced Thursday the Ministry of Interior of the Hamas government, which controls the territory.

The defendant, aged 43, "was sentenced to death by hanging for acts of collaboration with the occupation," the ministry said in a statement, adding that another, aged 53, was sentenced to hard labor for life. (AFP)
