1 dead, 6 injured in blast in Ramat Hovav plant

One person has died and six were lightly injured following an explosion in the Teva Tech pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ramat Hovav. According to Magen David Adom, the injured are suffering primarily from smoke inhalation and some light burns.
Firefighters from the Beersheba and Ramat Hovav fire departments are at the scene, assisted by the facility's ICU unit, servicing the plant 24 hours a day due to the fact that it houses hazardous materials. (Ilana Curiel)
