Aharonovitch discusses police failures in Bedouin murder case

Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch, speaking after the murder of two sisters in the Bedouin village of Al Furah, commented on the dismissal of Arad's police chief and others in the chain-of-command, "Those who failed, their place is not on the police force."
Aharonovitch said this during a stop at Soroka Medical Center, where he visited Walid Omar, who was seriously injured in the shooting at the Beersheba Bank earlier this week. Aharonovitch said Omar was led out of the bank in handcuffs due to confusion in the moments after the shooting. (Ilana Curiel)
