Southern District Police Commander Major-General Yoram Halevy referred Friday morning to the investigation into the killing of two little sisters in the Bedouin village of Al Fura saying, "We are still in pursuit of the murderer."
Halevy responded to allegations from Bedouins who said police do not address their complaints with equality. "Everyone gets equal treatment. We are not perfect, but we know how to deal with things and the dismissal of the Arad station chief is proof of such. I apologize to the girls’ mother for this specific failure of the officers."
