Maj.-Gen. Naveh withdraws candidacy for IMI board chairman

Deputy chief of staff Major-General Yair Naveh informed Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon on Thursday that he is withdrawing his candidacy for chairman of the Israel Military Industries board of directors.
Naveh explained he intends to nominate himself for the chief of staff post and is worried of a conflict of interest. On Thursday, the appointments committee disqualified him as IMI candidate for fear of conflict of interest. (Yoav Zitun)
