The Eilat Magistrate's Court extended through Sunday the arrest of the haredi father suspected of taking his family across the border into Jordan.
A prosecutor’s statement was filed Friday against the patriarch and on Sunday charges of illegally crossing into an Arab country and breach of a legal order are expected to be filed. The mother of the family was released under restrictive conditions and their six children were transferred to social services in the city. (Meir Ohayon)
