Official: Israel ready to start talks with Palestinians immediately

A state official said Friday that "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's meetings with US Secretary of State John Kerry were beneficial," adding that Israel welcomed Kerry's remarks that the parties to the Middle East conflict must launch direct talks.
