IDF soldier in serious condition after being bitten by snake

An IDF soldier was bitten by a viper on Thursday while on vacation in Eilat. He was evacuated to the Yoseftal Medical Center in the southern city in light condition.
His condition deteriorated on Friday morning and he is now suffering from a blood clotting disorder. He was transferred by helicopter to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem in serious condition for further treatment. (Meir Ohayon)
