Bedouin murders: Remand extended for kidnapping suspect

The Beersheba Magistrate's Court remanded by an additional eight days Ibrahim Amtirat, 24, who allegedly kidnapped the brother of the mother of the children murdered last week in al-Furah.

According to suspicions, he was helped by his brother, the main suspect in the murders, who is still considered a fugitive. Amtirat allegedly went over a year ago to the town of Azaria near Jerusalem, where they shot and threatened the mother's brother and kidnapped him.
