Charge: Beat wife to death with vacuum cleaner

An indictment was filed in Tel Aviv District Court against Freddy Winokorsky, 65, from the Hatikva neighborhood in Tel Aviv, for murdering his wife, Juliet, at the beginning of May.
According to the indictment, an argument broke out between Winokorsky and his wife, who had been married for 28 years. Winokorsky hit his wife viscously, then beat her with a vacuum cleaner until she lost consciousness and died. Attorney Tzahi Habdali of the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office has requested remanding the defendant until the end of proceedings. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
