Peri: Will not renege on equality of burden

Minister Yaakov Peri (Yesh Atid), who heads the committee for equality of burden, referred on his Facebook page to resistance to the enforcement of military obligation of yeshiva students, following a meeting on the subject:

"The surprising resistance of some of the ministers forced me to stop the meeting. Duty of service is the heart of the outline of the new recruitment, and I'm not going to give up on this principle. We promised to increase the burden of equality and we will not renege on this," Peri wrote. (Moran Azulay)
