Grunis: Resources invested in cutting court delays

None

Supreme Court President Justice Asher Grunis, spoke at the 13th annual conference of the Bar Association held in Eilat. He referred to delays in cases in Israeli courts.

"A series of efforts are devoted to shortening the duration of cases in the judicial system. Approximately 40% of the discussions are deferred and there is a connection between the delays and the time required to deal with the cases. It is clear that rigorous application of the procedure for deferral of discussions will help reduce delays," said Grunis. (Meir Ohayon)
