Ya'alon: Assad 'deterred' by Israel

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon responded to the possibility of a Syrian chemical attack against Israel, saying "The Syrian regime treats Israel different from how it treats the rebels. Assad's regime is not deterred by its own citizens, whereas it is by us."
Ya'alon added the Russian shipment of S-300 missiles to Syria was not yet delivered. "The missiles represent a threat and I can testify that there is no acceleration in the transaction. Hopefully they would never arrive at the destination, but if the deal goes through we'll know how to act." (Yoav Zitun)
