Ariel at Peri committee meeting: You’re trampling on agreements

At the beginning of a meeting of the Peri Committee, Housing and Construction Minister Minister Uri Ariel attacked Minister Yaakov Peri over the imposition of criminal sanctions on draft dodgers, stating, "Your proposal means removing the Haredim from the labor market... There is an agreed upon outline, and you trample on it. I urge you to keep to what was agreed upon.”
Peri replied, "I do not see a breach of agreement. It is true that it is not following the outline... We looked for a way to do it, and found no other way.” (Moran Azulay)
