Tel Aviv Labor Court convicted Aviva Weinstein, wife of Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein, of unlawful employment. She will pay a fine of $20,000. Weinstein did not attend the hearing, with permission of the Court.
Weinstein was accused of hiring a foreign worker from India without a permit. She was convicted in a plea bargain with the Immigration Authority. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
