Minister Sa'ar says Daylight Savings Time to be extended this year

Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar has adopted the recommendations of a committee that examined extending Daylight Savings Time. Sa'ar will present the cabinet and Knesset with a bill that will see DST extended to 200 days until the end of October as early as this year.
