Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at an international tourism conference in Jerusalem, "The first thing we did was to confirm the open skies policy and give up on VAT for tourism. The goal is to reach ten million tourists per year within a decade. "
"Israel is a leader in growth, job creation and in low unemployment. The Israeli economy leads among OECD countries," the PM said. "There is the potential to double the number of tourists arriving in Israel, and this will generate more jobs." (Kobi Nachshoni)
