The condition of Omar Walid, severely injured in the Hapoalim Bank shooting in Beersheba, has improved and he has regained consciousness and no longer requires ventilation.
Walid is still in a confused state and his family has not yet told him of the shooting's course of events, during which his friend, Idan Sabri, was killed. (Neri Brenner)
