IDF names elite unit base after Amnon Lipkin-Shahak

An IDF base near the Bilu Junction in central Israel will be named after the late Amnon Lipkin-Shahak, who passed away last year.
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said in a formal ceremony at the base: "The IDF is maneuvering between various threats… and I often find myself thinking what Amnon would say." Lipkin-Shahak was IDF chief of staff and a minister. (Yoav Zitun)
