IDF: Reserve soldiers served more days in 2012 than in 2011

According to an IDF report, reserve soldiers served 2.5 million days in 2012, compared to 2.2 million in 2011 and in 2010. The IDF ascribe the rise to Operation Cast Lead.

 

The report shows that 67.4% of the reserve service was for training and exercise, 12.6% for immediate recruitment by Decree Eight, 11.5% for operational employment and 7.7% for management of human resources. (Yoav Zitun)
