Yachimovich: Repeal of public housing law adds to housing mark-up
None
Opposition chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich referred to Finance Minister Yair Lapid's intentions to repeal the public housing law and said: "This law does some justice with the poor and excluded groups in Israel and gives them property that should be theirs anyway."
Yachimovich added that "repealing the law adds to the sharp price increase in housing due to raising VAT, taxing housing improvement and eliminating benefits for buyers in the periphery." (Moran Azulay)
