Education Committee Chair: Stop Superland school visits
Chairman of the Education, Culture and Sports Committee MK Amram Mitzna called on Education Minister Shai Piron to stop schools from sending their students to Superland Rishon Lezion until the convening of the Education Committee on the subject. This follows discrimination against an Arab school that visited the location.
On Monday, Mitzna will hold an urgent hearing with the school principal who complained of discrimination, Jalal Toche; representatives from the Justice Ministry; and the facility owner. Mitzna also appealed to the mayor of Rishon Lezion to take legal action against those who discriminated. (Shahar Chai)
