Man gets 25 years for murder of friend

The District Court in Beersheba sentenced Eliyahu Ashor, 20, to 25 years in prison in a plea bargain for the murder of a friend. David Haddad was killed in Ashdod in August 2010; Ashor was convicted in December of last year.

The court also ruled that Ashor will pay compensation of NIS 200,000 to the family of the victim. (Neri Brenner)
