Assad: Number of Hezbollah warriors lower than reported
None
Syrian President Bashar Assad commented on Hezbollah's involvement in the Syrian conflict during an interview he gave to the Hezbollah affiliated Al Manar television station. According to him, the number of fighters from the organization currently active in combat in Syria is smaller than was reported.
"Many thought that Syria would fall… and that Hezbollah would not intervene. Why do we not see them in Aleppo, Damascus and Homs," Assad rhetorically asked. (Roi Kais)
