Ya'alon: IDF needs to share burden of economic crisis

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon addressed cuts to the defense budget Thursday, during a ceremony honoring the contribution of IDF reserves, saying "The defense establishment and the IDF are not detached from the economic reality and need to share the responsibility."
"We will have to decrease training, cut positions and perhaps even discontinue the activity of military units. We will do everything we can to minimize any damage to the troops' capabilities."
