UN to fighters in Syria: Allow civilians to flee Qusair
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed concern regarding battles in Qusair, at the center of the last two weeks of fighting in Syria, and called for army forces and Syrian rebels to allow civilians to leave their homes.
"The eyes of the world are upon them, and they will have to provide explanations for every atrocity committed against the civilian population of Qusair," Ki-Moon wrote in the official UN statement. (News agencies)
