Cohen: Gov’ts should continue equality amendment
Welfare Minister Meir Cohen (Yesh Atid) was a guest at a cultural forum at the Habima Theater in Tel Aviv and addressed the issue of equality of burden. Cohen said that his party "fired the opening shot to enlist haredim and their integration into equality of burden," He added, "I expect that the government which follows the current government will continue fixing this."
Concerning the treatment of Holocaust survivors Cohen said, "I took responsibility for this upon myself, because every morning another organization is established which decides that it will solve the problem." (Omri Efraim)
