Report: Protestors stone Erdogan's office in Istanbul

None

Some 5,000 demonstrators lobbed stones toward Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's office in Istanbul and wounded seven police officers, the Chinese news agency reported.

Eye witnesses said the police used tear gas and water hoses to disperse the protestors, who broke windows, burned several police cruisers and attacked several Turkish television broadcast vehicles, in protest of the lack of media coverage of the demonstrations. (Ynet)
