Man arrested for hitting girlfriend with broomstick

An Eritrea national was arrested in Netanya for allegedly hitting his girlfriend after she refused to give him money. The suspect returned home inebriated at night and when she refused his request he placed a knife to her neck and beat her with a broomstick.
Neighbors heard the woman's screams and alerted to police, which arrested the suspect. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
