The Supreme Court discussed on Sunday morning a petition to cancel the amendment to the Infiltration Law, which allows the State to jail illegal immigrants for a period of three years without trial.
During the debate, the State representative Attorney Yochi Ginasin said Israel has reached an agreement with a foreign country to function as a third-party to which 2,100 immigrants from North Sudan were already transferred. Ginasin added that deals are in the works with two other countries to which immigrants from North Sudan and Eritrea will be transferred. (Aviel Magnezi, Omri Efraim)
