Welfare minister surprise visits handicap facility, orders it shut

Welfare Minister Meir Cohen arrived for a surprise visit at a Jerusalem handicap facility. According to a statement released by his office, "the minister was met with a life threatening safety hazard and ordered the facility to transfer its 18 handicap residents to an alternative facility within a couple of days.
