Hamas operative planning attacks against Israel detained
Shin Bet, aided by police and the IDF, arrested a Palestinian intending to carry out terrorist attacks against Israel. The arrest took place last month, while the gag order was lifted on Monday.
The investigation revealed the suspect, Bakhar Saad, met with Hisham Hajaj, a Hamas operative sentenced to life sentence for crimes against Israel and released in the Shalit deal. Saad expected to receive a delivery of weapons from Hajaj to perpetrate shooting attacks and kidnappings. (Yoav Zitun)
