Iranian presidential candidate: No to nuclear bomb
Ali Akbar Velayati, one of the leading candidates in the Iranian presidential race, said in an interview to French news agency AFP that his country does not want to build a nuclear bomb, despite Israeli and American claims.
However, he would reject any changes in Iran's nuclear policy if elected president, and said he would act in "exact" accordance with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's directions in order to defend Iran's right to use nuclear energy. (Ynet)
