Bill to increase budget deficit ceiling approved

The Knesset's Finance Committee approved the second and third readings of the government bill to increase deficit ceiling of the 2013 budget from 3% to 4.65%. According to the proposal, the deficit ceiling for the 2014 budget will increase from 2.75% to 3%.
Following the ratification the government will be able to submit the biennial budget for the Knesset's approval. (Zvi Lavi)
