Foreign Ministry staff ask IDF, Shin Bet to refuse PM security

The Foreign Ministry's workers union issued an urgent letter to IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz and Shin Bet Director Yoram Cohen following the demand of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the two bodies provide security on his visit to Poland next week. The letter entreated the two to decline Netanyahu's request as the trip coincides with a strike by the ministry's employees.
"Asking Israeli security bodies to break up a strike is clearly immoral. We expect you to decline the request" the committee wrote. (Attila Somfalvi)
