Police: Omar Walid was shot by bank killer, not police

Police Investigations Department announced that after reviewing the evidence gathered at the scene of the shooting at Bank Hapoalim in Beersheba it found no basis for the claim that Omar Walid, an Israeli Bedouin who was seriously injured in the attack, was shot by police officers.
The examination showed that Walid was shot by the killer, Itamar Alon, as was Walid's friend Idan Sabri who died in the attack. (Ilana Curiel)
