Ya'alon: Defense establishment no lonely island in economy

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said that "the defense establishment is not a lonely island in the economic reality and we must hitch a shoulder in the national effort to close the budget deficit."

Ya'alon added: "We're doing so with a heavy heart, grave concern and knowing that the risks we take are enormous. But we must also draw red lines, one of which is retaining the intelligence array." (Yoav Zitun)
