PM: Against appointment of judge with rape opinion

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on a statement made by Judge Nissim Yeshaya earlier Wednesday, saying he would oppose Yeshaya’s appointment to the Likud. “Some girls enjoy being raped,” the judge said to a rape victim when she appeared in court." Netanyahu called the statement unfortunate and unacceptable.
He added that he does not want to judge Yeshaya serve as the presiding judge of the Likud. (Atilla Shmolfavi)
